Auditions for CWC theatre productions start in September

In September, Central Wyoming College theatre department will have auditions for  two major fall productions. Auditions for Carlo Goldoni’s comedy, The Servant of Two Masters, will be Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 6:30 p.m. in the Robert A. Peck Center Theatre. There are twelve roles for the performance and the performance dates will be October 15-18.

Auditions for William Shakespeare’s tragedy, Hamlet, will be on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 6:30 p.m. in the Robert A. Peck Center Theatre. There are at least twelve roles, with doubling. The performance dates are Nov. 30 through Dec. 6.

“Prepared auditions are not required for either show,” said Mike Myers, theatre director. “Auditioners will be asked to read from the scripts.”

Community actors are encouraged to audition for all CWC theatre department productions.

Rehearsals for both shows will be Monday through Friday, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and once on the weekend, usually Saturday morning.
