Crystal Santor is a freshman working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education.
“I had people in my life that didn’t support me and then I had a few really great teachers that saw my potential and really helped me. I want to help others like that,” Santor said. “I want to be the person that says you can do this.”
Santor was nominated by her Professor Lee Wickstrom who teaches math and is a tutor at CWC.
“Crystal is an excellent student and a great example to others,” Wickstrom said. “She can often be found helping other students with their homework. She makes the math class environment really fun and it is clear she has a passion for teaching and helping others.”
Currently, Santor works as a custodian in the local school district and hopes that one day she will be working in the schools as a teacher.
