Rustler Spotlight-Eric Bennett

Eric Bennett is a sophomore from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is currently studying social sciences and his goals include getting a master’s degree. He will start applying for four year colleges and universities this summer and will graduate in December.

Bennett along with attending school full time, works full time for the Northern Arapaho tribe. He works with youth in a program called Generation 8, which helps youth learn about unity and helps them become leaders.

“I chose social science so that I can teach and help children,” Bennett said. “I like Central a lot and everyone here has really helped me and is so nice.”

Bennett is a student ambassador, a member of Phi Theta Kappa and a volunteer coordinator for Eagle Staff Running Association.

Bennett was nominated by Debbie Graham, administrative assistant for admission and recruitment.

“Eric always has a smile on his face and represents CWC extremely well as an ambassador,” Graham said. “I have enjoyed getting to know him through his services as a student ambassador this past year.”
