Rustler Spotlight-Piper Naylon

Piper Naylon is from Crowheart, Wyoming and will be graduating this May with her second degree from CWC in Farm and Ranch Management. Naylon’s first degree is in Agri-business. She recently made the President’s list for maintaining a 4.0 GPA during the fall semester. After graduation Naylon would like to find a job in agriculture or with the forest service so she can utilize her degrees.

Naylon is the captain of the women’s rodeo team and competes in the breakaway and goat tying events. She chose CWC after attending Idaho State University for a semester.

“It wasn’t a good fit for me and after talking to the rodeo coach, Drew Schrock and visiting the campus I knew this was a good fit for me,” Naylon said.

Naylon was nominated by Coach Schrock.

“She has a great attitude, work ethic and is the epitome of what this program should be,” Schrock said. “She always helps her teammates, is an amazing team captain and will be successful in whatever she does.”
