Chantel Bolte is a freshman at CWC studying early childhood development. She is from Riverton and plans to stay in the area after graduating.
“I plan to open a day care,” Bolte said. “I would love to start an infant program but I’m not sure the demand is high enough in this area. Starting an infant program is my ultimate goal.”
Bolte decided to attend CWC because she was already enrolled during high school and she said it was an easy transition.
“I love how personalized the classrooms are and Colleen is a great instructor,” Bolte said about her area of study. “With the small class sizes you get the help that you need.”
Bolte was nominated by Colleen Bartlett, assistant professor of education.
“Chantel is an excellent student in all of her classes and I often see her giving tours to prospective students,” Bartlett said. “She works and attends school full time which can be difficult but she manages it well and is someone I really enjoy having in class. This spring she is also participating in a community literacy event with her classmates. She is a great ambassador for CWC.”
Bolte is a student ambassador and in her free time she enjoys doing crafts.
